What Does "iPhone Kupi" Mean?
"iPhone kupi" is the Russian line "Айфон купи" (also written "ayfon kupi"), which means "buy me an iPhone". It comes from the song "Базовый минимум" ("Bazovyi Minimum", roughly "The Bare Minimum") by Russian pop singers SABI and MIA BOYKA, released in August 2025.
The song jokes about the "bare minimum" someone expects from a partner: buy me an iPhone, pay at the restaurant, and so on. That is why the iPhone Kupi meme is so often used to tease a boyfriend, a girlfriend or a friend who still owes you a new phone.
The iPhone Kupi Dance Trend on TikTok
The iPhone Kupi sound is used under many kinds of videos, but one clip turned it into a dance trend that people now recreate with AI. These are the moments everyone copies:
The hotel room at night
The iPhone Kupi dance takes place in a dim hotel room, which gives every version the same late-night, slightly chaotic look.
The foldable phone
The dancer flips a book-style foldable phone open right at the lens, on the "Айфон купи" line. This is the shot that made the meme.
The toss
Then the phone gets tossed away like it is nothing, the punchline of the whole iPhone Kupi meme.
The dance
The clip ends with a short, confident dance to the song. An iPhone Kupi dance AI video keeps all of this and only swaps in your face.
